[from John Bloom]
The 2007/2008 school year is off to a good start. We have 83 students presently enrolled. We have 18 high school students with one senior. We have no staff students for the second year in a row. We have three Canadian students from the Blackfoot tribe. Forty six students come from homes of professing Christians. Most of those students and a few others are professing believers. Many have been saved through the witness of their teachers. We start each day with singing and Bible memory as well as Bible class. It is interesting that one of the early missionaries (Florence Barker) prayed that one day children would be heard singing at Immanuel Mission. This was 80 years ago, long before there was a school. God is faithful and continues to bless the school work here. Our primary goal is not just to educate children, but to introduce them to the Savior. What joy it is when they respond to His love. Thank you for partnering with us in this important work.
